Scammers
Hey guys, I just ran into a email scam and wanted to share with you guys on here about what went down. So I was on my phone and was minding my business until I saw an email that said “You won $10,000! Just put your Cashapp in when pressing the link!!”. Of course I want $10,000 so I was totally on board but luckily I saw the URL and notice it looked suspicious. Then I stopped and looked at everything else and realized that it was a scam to get me to put my Cashapp in so they can take my account and all my money on there. The whole point of most scams are to take your money, accounts, and even worse your identity. So the point is for you guys to watch out about emails that say you won something because 9/10 it is always a scam. If you do get something like this then ask people that you know if they think its a scam and also do some research to see if anyone else you don’t know has gotten it. One main thing to check is the URL and see where it takes, then always ask yourself if its too good to be true because if it is then you should NOT click the URL link. These scammers are smart but you have to be smarter. Trust me I did fall for one of these before and I got lucky. They almost got me to locked out of my bank account!!! Please be safe guys scammers do not play they are serious!! Anyways watch out guys and have a great day peeps!!!

Thank you for posting this!! I had something like that happen to me recently and it was pretty scary. I was able to figure out it was a scam and this was very helpful.

I personally hate scammers. With the technology today, it is so much easier to trick or be tricked on the internet. I’m glad you posted this, it spreads awareness to those who might be more clueless when it comes to scammers. I’ve been scammed before and it’s not fun, thanks for your take!

Scammers suck. One time a scammer tried to take 1000$ out of my Venmo with a URL too but thankfully I knew it was fake.

I am SO glad you posted this. These scammers are getting so hard to determine what is legit or not. I will definitely look more closely at the information. Thanks for the heads up!!!

Woah this is good to know! Thank you for posting! One time I was almost scammed on Facebook but the logo looked different in the email.

Woah! Scammers these days are crazy with it. Changing logos to look the same that’s crazy. Got to watch out!!
